October 2002PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:
It's good for us to stop now and then to appreciate what we have at OSA. Here is an outstanding building in a beautiful part of the city. And we owe many for the upkeep of the gallery filled with shows of fine paintings that change monthly. We couldn't ask for a better staff or teachers who offer instruction in an assortment of media and subject matter, now five days a week.Demonstrations at meetings have been informative as well as entertaining. Our hostesses never fail to set a nice spread for us. Everybody has been pitching in.
What can we anticipate in the future? Well, let's fill some of those afternoons and evenings in classes. We can support studio on Saturday mornings.
Above all--OSA has something for everyone. Find your place. Show in the gallery. Attend meetings. Find a place where you can help. There are big and small jobs. Together we can help OSA to continue to be an important part of the community as it has been for 75 years.

In order to raise $50,000 to maintain and improve the OSA building and grounds "The Seventy-Five Club" will launch a campaign to recruit all current and former members to make a contribution or pledge of $75 or more during this Seventy-Fifth Anniversary Year. Each member of the club will receive a certificate, a lapel pin, and their names will be included in a large donor plaque displayed at OSA.
