Life Drawing Open Studio

Fridays, 10am - 1 pm, downstairs studio, $15 per session

Thank you for your patience. We are back with a full calendar and list of professional models both female and male, many who I’m sure you know from past sessions. I'd say that I’m the only new and unknown factor in this equation. Therefore a bit of background: I have 54 years experience as an Art Director, historical illustrator, and fine art teacher. I’m available to make your experience of drawing enjoyable and productive; All lovers of the creative arts are welcome.

This is a drop-in, uninstructed group working from unclothed models.  All skill levels welcome.   OSA members only; non-members may try one session before joining.

Single-Pose Figure Session ("Fine Art Friday")

Fridays, 1 - 4pm, upstairs studio, $20 session

Work in the drawing or painting medium of your choice. Clothed models with an occasional partial nude. All levels and mediums welcome.

Draw from Life  (Drop-In Sessions)

Saturdays, 2 - 5pm, downstairs studio, $15 session

Payment in cash or check, please.  Includes model fee

Open to the public, OSA membership not required.  This non-instructional, drop-in life drawing session is an opportunity to draw inspiration from the area’s most talented professional artist models amongst a welcoming and engaging environment; beginners as well as seasoned artists are all welcome. Open to artists of all mediums.  OSA provides the easels, chairs, drawing benches and boards.

The session begins at 2pm and ends at 5pm. This session is designed and facilitated by Lauryn Hare — a local artists' model, facilitator and photographer who aims to provide variety and inspiration through diversity in models, poses, set design and lighting elements amongst a relaxed but structured session.

Doors open 15 minutes before each session.
